Features of Mentee Program - Substance Abuse Education
MW2 provides intensive group and individual counseling where needed.
Certified and licensed staff are available. - HIV Education
Educational pamphlets, brochures and workshops will be provided through our certified and competent staff, to people living with HIV. - Teen Support Group
Regular support groups for teens will be facilitated , encouraging our youth to participate on various levels to include; teen facilitators, graduates as peer examples and partners. - Individual and Group Counseling
Both one-on-one and group counseling will be facilitated as needed. Regular one-on-one sessions will occur in conjunction with mentoring. - Job Readiness
Seminars will be conducted on an ongoing basis to ensure proper preparation for the upcoming job market. Role play and mock interviews will serve as measuring tools for job readiness classes. - Crime Intervention
MW2 will tour juvenile detention facilities to discourage youth from participating in criminal activity and show them through other youth the consequences of making bad choices. MW2 will implement strategies to encourage youth with alternatives to crime; summer jobs , community outreach and allowances.
